The HIPERTOUCH® 24 family of modern sporting rifle triggers (AR15 and AR10 types) conform to both commercial and military drop test standards. Testing was conducted by National Technical Systems in Wichita, Kansas per ANSI/SAAMI ABUSIVE MISHANDLING and INTERNATIONAL TEST OPERATIONS PROCEDURE (ITOP) ROUGH HANDLING. The triggers were installed and set to their lowest pull weight into minimum and maximum weight configured rifles with fully loaded magazines and a primed dummy cartridge in the chamber. They were then dropped onto a rubber pad backed by concrete or directly onto concrete from a height of 12-inches up to 5-feet high with the safety/selector set to SAFE or FIRE in various rifle orientations. All the triggers passed with no jar-offs (hammer fall and cartridge ignition due to inertial shock) confirming HIPERFIRE’s internal findings.

The wait is over. The HIPERTOUCH® 24 3Gun, or 24 3G, is now in stock and ready to ship. It has the 24C trigger dynamic, but with a curved trigger bow. It’s named “3Gun” because it offers the performance required by that expert class of shooter requiring accuracy at any speed. Of course, it may also appeal to other shooters whose training and/or professional practice requires traditional finger feel and placement.

HIPERFIRE is very pleased to announce that Lena Miculek, Lady Pro 3-Gunner, is now a member of the HIPERFIRE Team and will be running the HIPERTOUCH® 24Competition FCG in her match rifles for the 2014 season. The 24C was designed specifically for 3-gun competitors featuring the novel HIPERSHOE™ adjustable trigger finger pad, user-adjustable low trigger weights, and a straight trigger bow. The 24C also exhibits the same trigger break dynamic before and after hammer reset for the ultimate in shot consistency with virtually no pre-travel, minimal over-travel, and a very fast and positive hammer reset every single time.

HIPERFIRE receives patent protection rights for the HIPERTOUCH® FCG design with the issuance of U.S. Patent 8,572,880 on this date. This FCG innovation increases hammer fall energy while reducing trigger pull weight. No other AR FCG can do that, among other things. Other patents are pending. HIPERTOUCH® fire-control hammer fall energy is higher than that of a stock AR15/10 and the best after-market trigger upgrades. There’s a reason for that. The novel spring system that produces such smooth and low single-stage trigger weights can also increase hammer fall energy, which seems paradoxical. But, HIPERTOUCH is not your typical FCG. HIPERFIRE was a sponsor at the AR15.com ProAm 3Gun Championship held at Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, KY this past weekend.
