We don't know your thoughts, but installing an AK trigger just isn't the most convenient task. Most AK triggers are designed with hard edges, and exact fit pins. While this may give a slightly more sleek look in the end, it can make getting a trigger job done a nightmare! This issue became very apparent for us when we were developing and testing our AK triggers. So we decided to make our own! Introducing our new AK Pins! These pins were designed to solve the headaches that come from installing stock AK pins, and to make installation a breeze! US Patent Pending.HIGHLIGHTS
- Chamfered edges for easy push-through installation into any AK receiver; no more hunting for the hammer and trigger holes, or the receiver hole on the back side.
- Pins are longer so they protrude slightly, making it easier to push them out during uninstalls.
- Especially compliment HIPERFIRE's AK triggers that also feature US Patent Pending pin installation chamfers.
- Compatible with stock pattern AK hammers and sleeved trigger subassemblies.
HIPERTOUCH Elite: “I just installed a Hyperfire Elite trigger in my AR-10. My goal was to cure some fail to fire issues due to light primer strikes using some foreign military surplus ammo. I have only installed an AR trigger once before and was thinking the Hyperfire trigger could be a problem for me to install. It was way easier than I thought. I did learn one trick to pass along. The trigger and hammer installation is very straight forward. Compressing the coil springs looked like a problem area. I used a 5/32 inch pin punch (flat working end) and cupped my free hand over the spring assembly to prevent lost springs. Success on the first attempt with no flying parts. The trick is to position the yoke just above the notch where it will rest. Push straight in and slightly downward and it falls right into place. The difference between the Elite trigger and military stock trigger is amazing.”
